I'm helping a friend out by letting people know he is booking management hunts for the 2006-2007 season. The ranch is 3100+ that lies in La Salle and McMullen counties settled 14 miles North of Freer,TX. The Nueces rive runs along one border of the ranch and is some of the best whitetail country known to man. I was down at the ranch last weekend and watched a 4.5 year old 165+B&C 10 point buck at a mere 10 yards! The best buck taken off the ranch to my knowledge was in 2003 and he scored 208+ B&C. There has also been 2 other bucks over 200". Multiple bucks in the 180"-190" range and even more in the 160"-170" range. Dont pass up the opportunity to hunt Rancho Venado Grande! Also look for a hunt conducted on the ranch on the hunting show "H201 beyond the basics" coming soon.
