I have an alligator skull with no skin left on it that I would like to preserve in the same way as those old buffalo skulls you see from time to time. Does anyone have a good method of doing this? It's already been cleaned but needs something to keep it from drying out and cracking. I remember reading once about soaking skulls in a solution of water and elmer's glue but haven't ever tried it. Anyone have any ideas on the best way to do this? Thanks in advance.
