a customer wants to to try putting small paddlehorn moose antlers on a deer form. Has anyone got ideas to beef up the form to support the weight? Has anyone tried this?

....I suppose we're speaking of a novelty mount. Anyway if the rack is much heavier than you think the form is capable of supporting you can insert threaded 1/4 inch or 5/16 rods. Just drill a starter hole in the back of the form in the plywood down low, then sharpen one end of the rod(found at most hardware stores) chuck the other end in your drill, spray rod with Synlube or Pam cooking spray and drill into the mannakin at the angle up toward the head. Hope this helps....Mike
....I forgot, use a hacksaw and bench grinder to finish up. Also may want to use a hanger system for a heavier mount....Mike
