I have a nice deer cape that I would like to mount on a wall pedestal form.It has been skinned out and cut to length for an ordinary shoulder mount, before I order a wall pedestal form i would like to know if i should have enough skin?I`ve not yet done a wall pedestal annd i`m not sure how much skin one requires.

You will have plenty of skin for the wall pedestal if it was really cut properlly for a shoulder mount.

Before ordering...

They dont seem to use much more cape length, really. I would say to pay attention to adjusting the skin forward as you mount it, they can be tricky the first time around. They are a beautiful mount, though, Ive done many. I would suggest using the Gary Bowen hanger system, so it doesnt creep on the wall.
