How can I tell whether a set of Kudu horns are from the lesser or greater species?A friend of mine has a set of horns he is wanting to buy a cape for and we were curious.

You can put your thumb and index finger almost around the base of a lesser kudu horn. Greater kudu....no way. Also the length. Measured in a straight line the lesser's horn is 2' or less The greater will probably be around 4'or so.
