I have an elk Im mounting with a different cape!
I was wondering what is a good average eye to burr measurement?
The guy that I got the cape from kind of chewed up the
cape just under the burr! So could any one help out?

Just measured my sample elk....about four and a half to five inches on a finished piece. This was taken off an 11" eye to nose with a 26" neck using a straight ruler. Adjust more for a larger elk. Hope this helps.
