Fake Bison Horn Source?

Submitted by Larry Hilaire on 10/26/01. ( lhilare@yahoo.com ) 165.83.119.47

Does anyone know of a source for fake bison horns? Capes of polled (dehorned) bison are readily available for mounting, but where to find fake horns to complete the mounts?

Any help would be appreciated. Feel free to email me a response.

Mold and cast them. Seems simple to me. There is plenty of reference in the archives about the processes available. Mix the base resin with pigment to obtain a proper base color and add on color touches as necessary.
