Hello, getting ready to tann a deerhead and was wondering if i needed to use oil. or can i just mount it after it is done tanning? thanks alot MIKE

Are you using. You have to follow the directions it gives you to get the best use. If it call for oiling then oil it why skip proper procedure. Would you go to a brain surgen that went through you butt to get there cause he wanted to skip a few major step?
Just follow what the directions say and you will be better off.
Check Knobloch's site or Rittels for better info on home tanning.
