I am unhappy with the way the eyes look in a bear i mounted (the eyes are too big/round) and i want to know how i can re-do the eyes.
I looked at many , many pictures and 90% of them show a small
eye (smaller than currently on this mount). I could settle for the current eye but I don't want to and I need help in how to replace it. Can i re-soak the eye and will this soften it so i can adjust the
skin ? how do i do that

Joe, realistically you could use salad bowls for eyes as long as you clayed around it so that only so much was actually EXPOSED. I routinely use the IQ eyes that are nearly twice the size of the regular 12 and 14mm eyes suggested. You should be able to rehydrate it and do as you'd like, but I'd suggest you look for a larger problem: i.e. are they being set and clayed properly?
