Another question on Dall, planning to do a shoulder mount,wondering about hide paste,can a person use a gray colored hide paste or should I be sure to use a white paste of some sort? I have always used gray premixed on whitetails,but am concerned about the white cape of the dall? Thanks again also thanks to all in the past that have helped me. Mike

As long as you keep any color off the hair, it should be OK. I've used blue and yellow before.
