I saw a cougar mount on a pedestal stand at the Harrisburg outdoor show, and didn't think about asking the guy about the taxidermy job. It was a stand for an outfitter, now wish I would have asked. Planning on doing a cougar hunt, and haven't really seen too many good mounts. I don' tknow if cougars are harder to mount or what, but I figured this is a good mount that won't take up half the living room, and the job that was done was excellent. Anybody out there able to help point me towards someone that mounts this way.

Any taxidermist can do a head mount for you. I would look at the work of those in your area a pick one that you like. I am sure there are several here that will do it for you. If I could I would get Jan H. to do it for me.
