Yellow Antlers

I have a whitetail remount to do. This head has been hanging in the home of a chain smoker and the antlers have yellowed. what is the best way to restore them to a natural antler color? Peroxide?

I just finished a 20 year old mount that looked like it's been under floresnt lights.
I just stained the antlers and it turned out great.

soap & water

If all you have on them is cigarrette smoke & years of accumulated dust, put it on your mounting stand, turn him upside down , wash the stuff off of them. then you can tell when tostop so you wont get them too clean. If you stain over the smoke & crap on the horns they will be too dark. Remember what the color on antlers is made of in the first place, Dirt, bark, & sap from the bushes or trees.

I tried soap and water and it didn't work very well for me. Any other suggestions?
