For those of you who responded to my April competition question, I mentioned I'd let you know how the competition turned out. My delemma was that I mistakenly put the eyes in one way and the deer's pose was facing the other direction. They looked good, I just didn't know if the judge would say that was un-natural. Well, I got a third place! Very happy for my first deer attempt. Ironically, the thing he said that set mine apart from the ones that didn't, was that the eyes had a softer look. Of course I learned alot too! Thanks for all who replied.

Your reply to my earlier call for help was what eased my mind on the whole thing. I think that since I wound up with such a small amount of white showing, he may not even have noticed it. It didn't even come up. Thanks for the confidence!
