Many of you are too young to even KNOW what RED GAS was. Gasoline once had lead added to it to allow better burning and reduce engine "knocking". Only AMOCO sold lead free or "white gas" at its pumps. Everyone else sold the red stuff. Because lanterns and camp stoves didn't need lead, for many years, Coleman made a fortune from selling gas at $5 a gallon while the pumps ran it for less than a dollar. Now with fuel injection systems and electronic ignitions, lead gas is almost impossible to find and the only difference between Coleman and what you get at the pumps is the COST and the octane values.

And see, I didn't say a single thing about WHY anyone would need white gas and how its time has past just like Endolan U and DDT and arsenic.......

George, don't forget Disco, that's just as bad for you.

Patrick, Get some of Epo-Grips Bloodout/Degreaser for your boar. It worked beautifully for mine. A little goes a long way.

Try STRIPZ-ITô #2030 HF in place of any gasoline.

To: Patrick;
We never recommend the use of highly volitile, flammable liquids for degreasing. It's just not needed today. Be safe. E-Mail us and we'll send you a sample of our #2030 HF for degreasing. If you like it, you can get it from your favorite supplier.
Best regards. God bless.
Dave Crookall.

thanks
