I didn't find this one in the archives but I did look.
Anyway, I have a buff head I'm doing a skull mount with. One horn is about 5" shorter then the other. He wants the short one rebuilt to mach the other. No problem, I can do that with critter clay. But I'm not sure how to paint it to mach the other. Would a lighter under coat with a darker top coat, then rubbed so that the ridges show up lighter work?
Am I making sense? ANy ideas? Thanx, Tim.
