Help! Javelina with broken nose

Submitted by Kate on 02/06/2003. ( ) 198.81.26.230

I've got an old javelina head mount and today my cat decided to use it as a trampoline. The head fell right on its nose and now the nose is all falling apart. Because it's such an old piece, I don't feel like spending the money to get it professionally repaired but I still like my little javelina. What should I use to make it a new nose (half of the nose is still there, kind of). I'm pretty good at sculpting so if I have to start from scratch I think I can handle it. Thanks for your help!

Since you don't want it professionally done, I hardly know how to recommend a professional product. Everyone seems to like Bondo, but personally,if I were skulpting, I'd use clay. Since organic clay won't last long enough, you'll have to settle for epoxy clay of some sort.
