"Non Offensive"

I don't know how offensive "chain saw" or "sawzall" is to you, but those would be my first two choices. Then I'd let the cores rot out of the cases while encased in plastic. You do know that honey doesn't come out of the MOUTHS of bees, don't you?

just place them in hot water for a few hours...then give them a good solid tug...they should pop off...keep the h20 warm

TWO HOURS? I've had longhorns take weeks to break free and once when I used to boil them, THAT took 2 good hours but the cases were warped and cracked by the heat. We must be talking different "long horns".

nasty... but it worked

Well, i just started my first longhorn and i was all sortsa worried bout not bein able to get the cases off of the cores. This way worked without any problem at all. First i soaked the whole thing in a big tub for about a week, then i took it out and covered each horn with plastic bags n duct taped them all the way around. I let the skull sit outside for another week with the horns all wraped up that way. After a week, i pulled the first one off without any problem atall, the next horn only took about 4 more minutes. hope this method helps everyone
