I have a wild boar with plates 1/4" to 1" thick. whats the best way to remove them.

1/4 inch is nothing. but poses problems for folks who havent done many.I do a few dozen a year that has 2-4 inches of shield on them. The best way to get them off is dope up on the BC powders and get a BIG knife., lol :D Check out www.geocities.com/hogflesher and check out some pics of me trying to explain how to go about fleshing a hog.
A wise taxidermist once told me that the BEST way is to get someone else to do it!
