Well, I have seen a few, maybe in a steak house, but I never thought it would be me! I just had a call for a Brahma Bull head mount. Seems that Grandpa is gunna have to make sausage out of the old boy!
HELP! Any thing to watch out for? How about those horns?
I have looked thru several supplier catalogs and the only one that I have seen any forms in is ......"D-C"! He has 5 of them from 9 to 14 inches. Do we have any other choices?
May the spirit be with me!

Hope you priced this high $1500.00. You goning to find this is a hard hide to flesh, remember they are tuff, tuff tuff, just like the glue made from grain. I have used a half of a metal 50 gallon drum and wood fire to steam the horns off the cores. I have bolted down the skull plate and twisted the horn off after steaming, several hours, keep a watch on them!
Otherwise its a big deer mount, just heav or a large bison.
Now if the want the horns slick and shinny. Use a medium rasp to pull the ruffness down quickly, the scrap with a cabinet scraper. and finish off with Plastc rouge and a cotton flannel wheel on a buffer.
Check some of the other catalogs under the name ZEBU you should find some more forms. If DC is the only one you find I guess he gets the job. It's not your fault then. I think Van Dykes has some though.
