Cracked Eye Skin

I have an elk head that is five years old. My problem is that in the winter it gets very dry in the house and about a quarter inch crack appears in the corner of one eye. Mostly on the bare skin but does go a bit into the hair. When I use a humidifier the crack will completly close up. Is there a product that would work to remidy this problem. Thanks. Tim

It never will. It needs to be repaired. Take it back to your taxidermist and then when you get it back, leave the humidifier on during the winter months.

What procedure do you use to fix an eye of and Elk that is cracked. The skin opens up about a quarter of an inch when it
is dry but with humidity closes up almost completly. I Would
appreciate any procedures that would work. Thanks
