Removing Latex Paint from Antlers

Hi,

Does anyone have a good way to remove latex paint from a set of antlers I intended to stain with Antler Stain. I didnt like the look and decided to go with Potassium Permagate (sp?), and now I have to remove all the paint. Can a simple Paint remover from a hardware store work?

There is a ton of ways to do this, windex on the lighter side will work, but you have laquer thinner, acetone, or last paint remover. All will work even warm soapy water can remove paint from antlers.
