i have 390 class elk the the customer cut the skull plate into to get in home the anlters are very heavy what is the best way to fix it for a pedistal mount (it will get handled alot) thanks

To repair the antler plate, your best bet is to fiberglass the skull plate back together. Especailly if it's going to be handled a lot. But I would stress to your customer that you don't take any responsibility for any damage after the mount is complete. And explain to your customer not to pick it up by the antlers.

Fix the skull plate...then drill into the skull and antlers from the brain side of the skull plate, cut off the antlers and install the detachable antler mounts from Research. This will allow your customer to get the mount indoors and will take the pressure off of the skull plate a bit, because you set the base of the detachable antler mount right into the form...no worry about the plate breaking later or having to hold all that weight.
