I finally finished adjusting my first open mouth boar form and test fitted the cape (umteenth time ,lol ).
Everything fits - yep .
Take cape off move down to the mouth - god - how do i carve out a lip groove in that?
What do i do?, the foam just isn't thick enough to put one in.
I think now that i cut too much away when i carved out the mouth?
Anyhow i have improvised with glue along the extreem edge of the mouth and pins - many of them.
Im thinking i can try to put a thin layer of foam along the gum line and carve a groove in that or apoxie sculpt the gums in, covering the pinned lips as i go.
Any advice?

Sam, Hard to "see" from here exactly what you are seeing but the apoxie-sculpt might be the best choice. You could build the lip thickness back up if it is indeed too thin with the apoxie and even model in a lip slot or if that's not the problem you can model over the edge of the lip skin with the apoxie-sculpt to get a smooth transition. Don't worry though- you can fix this. I would not try adding the foam since it would be more difficult and messy. Even critter clay works for building a little thickness back if it's not too much. Good luck with this "learning opportunity" and enjoy, Aaron H.
