I have a large set of elk sheds and would like to put them on a skull plate which was purchased from Jonas Bros. The customer wants the antlers to be detatchable. Any suggestions on the best way to attach these antlers to the skull plate would be helpful.Thank You

Look in some of you supply catalogs and you will find some detachable anter systems. Its basically a male and female end.
With a large drill bit drill from the underside of the skull plate and also into the bottom of the antler base. Try to align the holes the best you can. Do the same on the other side. Bondo the female end in the skull plate and let it harden completely then bondo the male end into the antler. Slide the skull plate onto the male end of the antler aligning the antler like you want it. Try to hold it into position until the bongo hardens in the antler. Then just slide the skull plate off and repeat for the other side.

Kent;
Bojack gave you the correct procedure for your elk sheds. But don't use bondo to secure the male and female ends. Bondo isn't a glue and will crack after awhile. Bondo is a filler, and shouldn't be used for this purpose. Glue the ends in with a good epoxy instead.

Good luck............Coyote
