I just recieved an addax cape from a taxidermist in texas to mount for one of my clients. This particular cape has a few problems...but as addax capes are very hard to come by...I am bound and determined to make this thing work. The problem is on the back side of the ears. No hair over half the ear. I can't figure out what to do about this. I sure don't want to leave it bald. Addax are very pale in color and I was wondering if I took a peice of skin from a deer...bleached it out and glued it in place...what do you think?
