Hi, I have been using potassium hydroxide to remove sof tissues from bones, but i suspect that it will degrade the bone though it is not shown physically. I heard that ammonia hydroxide does a better job, is that true? Besides this two methods, is there other safer method? thanks

boil the bones in soda ash for a couple of hours, let dry, then soak in ammonia to get rid of any greas left behind.
