These are exceptional products. I also like his jawsets with the removable tusks and whets.
I need to know what size eye's are used, and what brand fits the positive set. Also what ears fit the mold. Thanks in advance.
I designed the 125 Boar eyes for Tohickon about 10 years ago. Noonie & WASCO have them. Noonie used to have some ears made by Wayne Dixon that were a positive fit including the earbutt but I don't know if Wayne makes them any more. WASCO has three sizes of earliners for boar,ELC-35, ELC-36 & ELC-37
did i noy see a pair of reproductions on here 1 hour ago.
He's carrying yours. Those three sizes will cover whatever hog you're mounting except some of those 900 Berkshires that I've seen come out of Bostick Plantation as "Russian boars". You'll have to decide which size fits your hog as they are small, medium, and large by ear measurements.
As for "positive set", I don't subscribe to that. I put a ball of clay under the eye and with a flashlight, decide what the focal plane should be for my mount. I tilt them accordingly. Those eye's Rick designed are unequalled in quality and workmanship.
I purchased your boar a to z video and it has given me the advantage on mounting a boar my father shot this past winter. Thanks Again for all the responses...... Joey
