old doe cape

I have a doe cape, wet tanned, that has been in the freezer for about three years. Can I re-hydrate and mount as usual, or will it be too freezer burnt to use? Thanks

you can. Needed a replacement cape and used one of my spares, tanned in '99 (I had no problems).

about the cape after rehydrating it...apply SROP ROT to it and you'll be amazed at how you can 'save' a cape or skin you thought was rotgut unsalvagable.
