i have a customer how can supply me with buffalo capes and hides to mount and tann . he said he would buy the animals process the meat and give me half the meat if i would mount and sell the mounts and hides and give him half the money . im sure this could all be done but i have know idea what to ask for the prices on shoulder mounts or where to sell them can anyone tell me what a 800lb buffalo cow would be worth?

Buffalo are a lot of work and I don't know what demand there would be for cows. Also the price of the meat has really went down.
Buy the heads and skins outright...dson't fall into that trap...you can't afford it...'as marvelous aa deal' as it seems. You have no idea what you're getting into at this stage of the fame.
It's a LOT of work and great expense having the hides tanned...cost for forms and supplies up front for just the heads alone...then waiting to sell them to get your money...then give HALF of it away?
You'll be doing all the work at your ecpense for free. Buy a freezer and the meat if you want it seperately too...cheaper.
