Blown-out Antelope Ear

Submitted by Bob on 07/10/2003. ( ) 198.26.132.101

I just received my antelope cape from the tannery. One ear was blown out and fell off so they attached it to the cape. I'm thinking of using the two part appoxy (two seperate tubes you mix together) you can get at the store and glue each side to a liner. Has anyone ever tried this before? or does anyone have a better idea? Thanks

I'd sew it

I would sew it.
I have tried to fix a split by glueing it to the earliner, so far it has never worked exactly right. It always leaves a little gap now matter how carful I am to get it just right and card it in place.
Maybe its just me and i'm unlucky.

Good Luck,

Shooter.

sculpt it

INSTEAD OF USING PLASTIC EARLINERS, USE EPOXY SCULPT. FILL YOUR EAR WITH THE EPOXY CLAY AND PRESS THE SPLIT PART TOGETHER. THE SKIN WITH AFFIX TO THE SCULPT AND IF ANY SQUEZZES OUT SIMPLY WIPE IT OFF THEN AIRBRUSH THE REMAINDER.
