Luke, Before mounting anything read plenty on the subject. Videos can be a good way to start as well. I think the keys to making a decent mount is to thin the skin down till it stretches easily, use a quality adhessive and apply the skin to a mannikin that is not larger than the skin and allows the skin to lay on the form without stress. Also, never mount anything without good reference photos of the various parts of the animal you work on. Don't guess about how it should look because you will be wrong almost always. Trust your reference materials and work to make the mount as lifelike as you can. Don't be discouraged, taxidermy is on going learning and no one gets it all right from the start. Good luck and don't forget to enjoy, Aaron H.

thanks
