I've got a practice cape I want to try a Dry Preservative I've concocted on.
The cape is currently in the freezer.
Can I thaw out to flesh.....refreeze....and then thaw out again for mounting? Or is that too damaging to the hide?

Well, since your trying something experimental, I'd think you'd want to try to eliminate all potential problems before starting. Of course one should always do that, but in this case, if you ended up having a problem, you may always wonder if it was the freeze/thawing, or your DP concoction. Might as well take that out of the equation before even starting.
