Treadment of shouldermount

With what can I treat the shouldermount of any animal through the years to keep it in good condition?

clean from time to time, keep away from high heat areas,and away from direct sunlight. Thats a few things its basically common sense if you think it will hurt it in anyway it probally will. hope that helped
