I was wondering how much extra some of you charge for a wall pedistal deer over a regular shoulder mount. Right now I charge $470 for a shoulder mount and $540 for a wall pedistal a $70 difference I was thinking of going a little higher because of the extra work and expence what do you guys think ? I charge $75.00 extra for a wall pedistal i was also thinking of going up.
I charge 15% of the cost of the shoulder mount..It works for any animal that I mount...

If you're talking about one of the offset wall pedestals that have become popular the past couple of years, I fail to see a difference in the amount of production time that goes into them.The mannikins and materials are within a few bucks difference, and except for processing an extra six inches of hide on the show side shoulder, which you take off from the wall side anyways, I just don't see the extra work involved.I do charge an extra $50, but that's to include a panel, as I feel the offset wall pedestals look better with them.Now, if we're talking true pedestal mount complete with habitat, that's a whole nother ball of wax.
