Has anyone ever taken a caribou rack off from an existing mount that was dried for years and replaced it with a larger rack? What am I up agagainst?

......if it was a tanned cape, wet a rag and place it on the skull,putting plastic over top and let it rehydrate over night. The next day,cut away the stitching just enough to pull off the old set of antlers and replace.They'll probably have 3-4 screwa holding them in place as well as mache or clay over top.
Sew it back up and you're done!
