I was wondering if you guys know of any secrets to keeping the width from shrinking on antlered game. I tried putting a board between the antlers until they dried but when I took the board out they still shrank. My last coustomer couldn't beleive they would shrink in size Thanks

Is kill a wider deer. It's the skull that shrinks and by extension, it brings the antlers closer together. I tell people who are so concerned with it, that that's what makes the playing field LEVEL. Stop cheating or at lest, trying to. Or they could have it scored by Buckmasters if that makes them feel better, but that field's level as well.
i`ve experienced this also.sugestions:don`t hang antlers upside down.if using spreader boards use on tines,and main beams.tell your customer these will be inelligable for any recognition i`m aware of.by the way,slimmer beamed antlers shrink the most and i beleive for several years.
