Caribou skulls

Could someone point me in the right direction on doing a European mount of a Caribou? I usually boil my whitetail skulls, but I don't know where I could get a pot big enough for a caribou. Plus, I don't have the skulls yet and really don't know what kind of pot I would need. Some of you guys methods would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,Jeff

Doesn"t everyone in the south own a turkey deep fryer? ;) Go to Wal-Mart and buy one they are invaluable for a number of outdoor cooking operations, boiling traps and possibly even deep-frying turkeys, although I"ve never used mine for that silly purpose.

Don't boil a skull, except a skull plate you're intending on covering with a hide...take a large rubber-maid or ten gallon plastic pail and fill it with water...let it rot for a few weeks and then wash it off. If you have to, let it sit in water again for a couple more weeks but the meat will come off. By using the rubber and plastic containers that have sealable lids, you can cut a slot for each antler to protrude out through and then stuff this slot with plastic bags firmly around the antler...you'll be surprised at just how little it stinks if you pack it right. I do these in my garage over winter months and there is no smell in the house, or the garage for that matter! Check tha archives also...it always has great info!
