I am trying to figure out the best way to complete a deer I have. My husband shot a small buck. Eye to nose 5 1/2", Neck 12". I really wanted to do a full sneak with the head held high like on a 4600 McKenzie mannikin. I know I am destined to alter a mannikin. I can only find upright or semi sneak mannikins to fit him! I have plenty of deer in my house with those poses. I was wondering what you guys would recommend for a different type of pose. I think I am going to need to get a doe mannikin and alter it from there. If I could find a full sneak to fit him, the alteration would have been simple....but I cannot locate a full sneak in his size. 12" is the maximum I can get out of the neck. Anyone have any suggestions on some unique poses?
I appreciate all the comments in advance!

John Rhinehart(McKenzie) has an upright form that is 5 7/8" X 13 3/4"
13 3/4" would be too big....Trust me guys, if you saw this deer you would understand. He gives new meaning to the word....pencil necked. 12" is a good fit....12 1/2" is pushing it..
Heres an off the wall idea, but could you use a sneak blackbuck form and a change out head? I think I have seen several sneak blackbuck forms that are in that smaller size. It would take some alteration, and patience. You may have to use a doe head, cut out a spot for the skull plate and then get the forms to come together.
I ended up getting a small doe mannikin and I will start chopping away in a few days. Hopefully it will turn out very nice!
has a button buck form in full sneak, 5 3/4 by 13". A little modifing and you have it.
