Antelope Neck Form

Submitted by Mike on 10/07/2003. ( Prkguy@aol.com ) 66.119.33.171

I have an antelope cape that has some hair slippage on the shoulder covering about a 4" area. After salting the rest of the cape seems pretty tight but I am worried that the bad spot may not make it through the tanning process so I want to plan ahead just in case. Can anyone recommend a company that makes antelope neck forms?

Nope no neck forms, get creative! That seperates the taxidermist for the haxidermist.

After tanning figure out what you can do to get the most out of the cape!

patch antelope

if you hve some extra cape try to patch. cut out bad area and cut a new piece and brad in place when you are mounting this. Have done this before works pretty good depending on where the problem area is.

I will have it tanned

I will have it tanned and see how it comes out. Maybe the patch will work. Thanks. Mike
