Am I crazy - Bull mount (domestic)

Submitted by Mick on 11/03/2003. ( ) 205.186.88.64

Just wondering how many of you guys out there have done a Bull (beef/domestic) and think I am crazy to take one in. I feel a little out of my element with a bull head, especially with the lack of forms.

Any advice or Off-Colored comments for a me? BTW I have done elk, moose, deer, african, sheep, etc and I know I am out of my element with this one.

forms available, go for it. I see nothing at all wrong with doing that.

A good experience

Go for it.
Its not everyones 'cup of tea' but i found it a good, though at times, frustrating, experience.
Here - i only had 1 form to choose form. The bull i has to do was a cross breed x cross breed x anything else that 'mooed'.
Needless to say i got alot of 'form aleration' experience, and they do look impressive hanging up, while looking down.

I just finished a calf. I made my own form and everything. It was a lot of time involved, but rewarding.

I did a Scotish highlander bull last year, came out realy nice. If you have cattle around where you live, take some good close up pictures of the nose color.Good luck.
