Have a friend that mounts 250 hd of deer a year. He uses floor tile adhesive instead of hide paste. I have always used hide hide paste but he says tile adhesive works just as well and costs less. Would like to have some professional opions on the matter. Thanks

Yeah, we have all use the cheap stuff, and each and every one of us have had drumming with it. Its not made to do this job.
You have to go back two or three times a day and work the head for three or four days. Time/time/time/time is what it takes to do that.
So how many more heads can speed demon do if he spent a few dollars per head on Epo-Grip 2 part, mount up and adjust one time you are done and no drumming, no shrinkage. Use a bit of Apoxie to set the eyes and guess what you dont have to recheck anything. Just do it right the first time.
Wall paper paste will work too as will linolium paste, caulking anything a bit sticky will work, I suspect maybe even carmel candys melted would work at lest for a time.
I prefer Epo-Grip two part because IT WORKS AND SAVES ME TIME.
With the proper fit you should never have any drumming you can use any kind of a glue with the proper fitting and a good tan.
How much does Steve pay you to advertise for Epo-Grip in every one of your replies? ROFLMAO.
Yep you can use cheaper glue and glues that dont work well, go back everyday for several days and work the head over.
I am not going to work the head over and waste that time.
Using the more expensive glues can add speed to the turn around time and lead to increased wages and PROFIT.
hello...............the last two years i have been using this glue with ZERO DRUMMING...its about 10 dollars a gallon.i have no problems at all.there is basically only 3 types of glue dextrine base, latex[carpet glues etc] and epoxy glues[two part glues] they all work, follow directions..............kenny
