Do I need to turn the other cheek (on my skulls)?

Right now my beetles are taking about 1 1/2 weeks to clean a skull. The skulls already have most of the flesh off before I put them in the box and I mist them every other day. Do I need to turn the skulls over every few days or not?

Re-Evaluate

Re-Evaluate your colony. A week and a half seems long to clean a single skull. I'd say you aren't hot enough for some reason. Go through the checklist and make sure your substrate is dry, food humidity high, overall humidity not excessive, temperature warm etc etc. At a week and a half to clean a skull you could macerate in the same time period. Seems like something is off in your colony.

I've made the list and checked it twice

I've gone over everything everyone has told me. The temp. is between 70-80F. I mist every 2-3 days, generously. I have a sponge and nesting box in for them to do their thing. I have wood shavings lining the box. What could I have missed?
