How to hide stiches up the throat of a warthog

I have a life size warthog and now the customer wants a shoulder mount. But the skin was cut up the belly all the way up the throat. Is it possible to hide the stiches this much? The hair is sparse on a warthog to begin with. Any thoughts?

Not any big deal, think how were you going to hide it?

How were you going to hide it on the lifesize mount? Surely you were?

Test fit the cape. Drag a upholstry pin down the cut marking this heavily, I mean heavily!

Now cut a groove wide enough to tuck a seam from sewing into it.

Sand blast the form, make any alterations, mount.

Now weh you sew this cut up it will be just like doing a deer. Sew the cut with a locking stitch, every 3 inches tie the seam off, now use Epo-Grip 2 PART and work it down the sides of the neck, sew and work sew and work the Epo-Grip 2 Part.

Before stapling the back, tuck this seam into the groove getting lots of E-G 2part in the groove, I mean really work this in. then simple pin the seam at opposing angles that will not allow the pins to pull out. Spray water over the cape and smooth it out, work it down smooth.

This will set by the next day, once totally dry just work a but of Epo-Grip seam and Putty epoxy into the seam, texture the seam as you go.

You may wish to use colored chaulk or artist pastels to color the epoxy.

Once set finish the head, you should have been going to do this with the LIFESIZE mount too!
