lip slots

Can anyone give me the size of the lip slot of a elk. Thanks

Depends on how you want to tuck them.

I thin the lips down very thin,same for the area around the lips.

Now at one time I use a 1/4 slot. No more I just cut it with my lip tucking tool 1/8th at most.

Lip Slot saw

Research Mannikins sells a great lip slot saw. It's a small hack/hole saw device that cuts a perfect lip slot.

Lip Lock

I guess I am still using anchient history........I like my lip lock that I use in my dremel. No one even carries em anymore I don't guess except I think it's Jona's supply I saw them. 3 sizes small mammal, medium deer and large elk.

Thanks folks I also go see through thin on my lips guess Start with a small slot can go bigger a lot easier then going smaller thanks again
