I have been using hardwood sawdust i purchased from McKenzie, and it i scostly to have it shipped. My local feed store sells Bagged kiln dried poplar shavings for bedding. Has anyone ever tried something like this for tumbling?

i make my own with a chainsaw. i use willow, and put a piece in the back of my pickup and start sawing slice by slice. i can easily make 100 lbs of good sawdust in 20 minutes. larger saws work better. try it you will like it.
