I have a cape that has been in a saftee acid picklefor a month or so... my question is after I finish fleshing/shaving the hide should I degrease it again before I put it back into the pickle for a final soak prior to the lutan-f . Thanks for all the great advice put forth on this forum

I only degrease after I am done with all fleshing, in case of boar with thick shields I shave and shave and shave, removing the shield.
Next I will degrease once degreased I put them back in the pickle, checking the pH for a few more days.
Then go on to the rest of the tanning.
