I have a w/t cape that was salt dried after i rehydrated it I found that the cartilage and earbuts are still attached to one side of the earskin is it to late to finish removing the cartilage, i want to use earliners.Iam putting it in pickle bath today.

take your cartlige off after your first pickel bath do your final fleshing and thinning remove ear cartlige,thin your eyes,lip;s
put back in the bath for 24hrs the nuetralize then tann then mount.
It is not too late as I don't usually remove the cartilage until after tanning as its easier to remove. Just go ahead with your taning and remove cartilage just before mounting, Mark
