I just got done mounting a mule deer and must say for my very first ever deer head it turned out awesome! Anyways, when doing the cape work on it I mixed up a couple of steps while doing it, so I let it completely dry, then rehydrated, then tumbled it. So my question is using liqu-tan, this time I plan to pickle, then tan, so do you tumble after the cape has tanned for 6 hours or what?
I know it's not neccesary to tumble but I think that it adds so much to the cape
