I'm still working on mine...beginning to wonder if it will ever get finished! I'd used Yahoo sitebuilder to create 26 pages, but it wouldn't upload right, no matter what we tried. Only parts would work. Sometimes. So, he moved it all into another builder, and I don't know how to get around in it. And, he has yet to finish the uploads! (Kids!)

But, some of it is working ok, so far. I didn't use a "template" for mine, but created it from scratch. I designed the entire thing, from page layout, to choice of colors, photos, etc. LOT of work! I'm beginning to wish I'd just let someone else design it for me! Would have been much quicker and less frustrating. But, I'm a "Do-It-Yourselfer." LOL! =)

Miss Vicki, nice site none the less...........

I browsed a bit (I'm on my Lunch) and liked what I saw. I do not have a site up right now but in the past I have used Microsoft Front Page and a file transfer protocol (FTP) program called WFSTP. Both are relatively easy to use and get used too.Front page does have a file transfer option, but I have not used it. I'm sure others have used different programs, but Front page worked for me. I can understand your wanting to do it yourself, nothin like the rush of satisfaction when it's done & workin. Keep at it, it's lookin good! Nice looking mounts by the way, I especially liked the Barred Owl. Something you do not see every day!

It is a very nice site by the way.

Thanks, guys!

I initially used Yahoo Sitebuilder, but kept having upload problems with the pics, etc. Sometimes it would work ok, other times, it wouldn't. Nick the computer whiz kid said there was a glitch in it somewhere. We even uninstalled it, and reinstalled it. Same problems. So, he moved it to Front Page and uploaded what is on there now. Still have some problems to work out. I know my way around Sitebuilder well, but Front Page has me lost! Guess I'll just have to learn it over time. That, or drag him away from his computer...but considering he's 6'2" and 190-200 lbs, think that would be an impossible feat! LOL!

Griz, if you are refering to the mouse trailer on my site, it is kinda fun, eh? I actually figured out how to put that on. The creek in the background runs through this property. MAY take more pics of different locations here and incorporate them into the backgrounds of other pages...may add music, too. (In my SPARE time! LOL!)

My web site is www.hip-o.net At the bottom of my site you'll find the site designers logo. He's an avid hunter and builds professional outdoor/hunting and fishing sites. He will barter on some of the work for services.
