a Catalina (Spanish) Goat or a New Zealand Mountain Goat.
Had a article in a past issue(sorry don't remember which) that had all the Corsican family in it. These were probably taken off the same ranch, and considered trophies. Good luck finding another one.
it could be a Texas dall. Does it look like the corsican? You need to fine out what it is before you get a replacement cape. Doesn't your customer know what he shot?
Sounds sooooo much like a Texas dall sheep. Texas dall has straight whitish hair with a main like under the neck. A goat species has a beard not a main. Goat horns dont quite have the curl of a sheep. Look up texas dall on the web and compare. Place a post in the "wanted" section of this site for your replacement cape.
with a cream or golden color instead of off white. They all have a mane like mentioned above. Also the goat won't have a curl, but will have more of a straight, gentle curve to the horns.

Would also be my guess. they look exactly like a muflon, but have creame to white hair. There is one advertised in the forsale catogory of this forum.
